Pool Color paint for ceramic or molten glass finish pools

The Pool Color paint kit has been specifically developed for use in ceramic or molten glass finish pools. Easy to apply, this paint kit allows you to offer a new colour to your pool structure with a choice of 150 available colours (RAL colour chart).

Pool Color paint kit for ceramic or molten glass finish pools perfectly covers the surface of the pool to ensure an optimal lifespan throughout the coming years.

Each kit covers 18m² in surface area. Adapt the number of kits you require to the surface area of your pool.

Each of the products supplied in the kit are easy to dose and apply. The Pool Color paint kit for ceramic or molten glass finish pools allows you to repaint your pool in three easy steps.

Application of the Pool Color paint

Step 1: Clean pool walls and floor

This step is vital to rid the pool walls and floor from the germs and impurities that can harm the adherence of the paint to its surface.
Product to be used : Ceramic and molten glass finish, easy to use. Deeply cleanses your pool structure surface.

Dosing :

New surfaces: Use 1 litre of Cleaner diluted in 10 L of water
Dirty surfaces: Use 1 litre of Cleaner diluted in 5 L of water for a more concentrated product

Utilisation :

Apply diluted cleaning agent to the pool walls and floor, then brush and leave to activate for 20 mins, then rinse in clear water.

Required drying time :

Roughly one week

Step 2 : Application of undercoat

Supplied ready to use, the Pool Color undercoat for ceramic or molten glass finish pools reinforces finish coat adherence. Once the undercoat has been applied, leave it to dry 20 mins. The pool surface is now ready to be coated with the finishing coat.

Step 3 : Application of the EPOXY Ceramic and molten glass lacquer paint

The Pool Color paint kit includes 4 litres of lacquer paint and 2 litres of hardener. This renders 18 m² of coverage in 2 coats.

Preparation :

Mix 4 litres of lacquer and 2 litres of hardener, then add a 1/2 litre of thinner.

Once ready to use apply Pool Color using a spray gun or a roller. The elastic properties of the Pool Color lacquer paint for ceramic and molten glass pools reinforces adherence and simplifies application. The hardener coagulates and solidifies the lacquer once applied.

Drying time for lacquer finish coat : 21 days

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Avoid painting during strong sun or wind to ensure your paint does not dry too quickly or form blisters. Too humid conditions should also be avoided as this can affect the correct adherence of paint.

The Pool Color paint kit does not guarantee pool sealing.

Check with your pool technician how to correctly empty your pool before painting. Certain pools can be subject to irreversible damage if not emptied correctly.
