CLIMEXEL heat exchanger in detail

The CLIMEXEL heat exchanger is ideal to heat your pool water. You can use the energy from your domestic heating system or your heat pump to heat your pool water. Designed for use with a by-pass system on a boiler or heat pump circuit. Available as unequipped ET-NU version or equipped ET-CA version which uses an electronic regulation system that allows you to automatically regulate the temperature of your pool. A spiral, plate exchanger is made from titanium, an unalterable material offering a high-performance by means of a large surface of thermal exchange. The equipped version features all elements that are needed for the heat exchangers operation and is entirely pre-installed for connection to the domestic heating circuit.

How does a heat exchanger work?

Two hydraulic circuits circulate in opposite directions in a heat exchanger. The primary domestic heating circuit produces hot water between 40 to 80°C, depending on the source of heat (heat pump, boiler...). The secondary circuit is related to the swimming pool and is heated by contact with the primary circuit by non-direct contact with the exchanger's plates.

CLIMEXEL heat exchangers are equipped with titanium plates to:
- Create a bigger exchange surface than a tube exchanger (for better performance).
- Create compatibility with all water types (electrolysis, salt, chlorine, bromine...) because of the unalterable characteristics of titanium (non-corossive).

Thermal plates are positioned at the heart of the exchanger which is a CLIMEXEL exclusivity, offering a superior thermal exchange to tubular exchangers.

1 - Primary circuit (Principal hydraulic circuit linked to domestic heat system)
2 - Secondary circuit (Hydraulic circuit linked to pool filtration system)

EC-NU thermal exchanger (unequipped)

Titanium heat exchanger totally compatible with all types of water treatment, 5-year guarantee. The body of the exchanger is made from synthetic resin. 90° outlet for easy connection to by-pass. Double sleeved temperature gauge, at inlet and outlet to inverse water circulation. Supplied with 2 Ø50 or 63mm union connections for the secondary circuit (pool).

EC-CA heat exchanger (equipped)

The equipped version of ET-CA includes all the characteristics of the ET-NU unequipped version with the following in addition:
1 precise aquastat with digital display of water temperature and set point,
1 pump for primary circuit,
2 isolating valves, 1 of which is equipped with an anti-thermosiphon check valve
1 purge valve,
All electrical cabling required for the correct operation of the unit.
