Digital pH tester : PH5011

pH is a fundamental element of pool water quality.
It must be correctly balanced and situated between 6,8 and 7,3. Otherwise, the pool water is too acid or alkaline.
This unit allows you to test quickly and easily your pH level. After calibration using the supplied buffering solution, simply read the displayed results.

Instruction for use

1. Insert the battery and press ON/OFF to start up the unit.
2. Lift the protective cover and retract the telescopic sensor gently to full extent.
3. Rinse the sensor in clean water and wipe with a dry cloth.
4. Dip the sensor in standard solution with a pH level of 7.0. Stir gently and wait till the screen reading stabilises.
5. Use the supplied mini-screwdriver to adjust the screw on the right hand of the unit till it reads 7.0 (25°C).
6. After calibration is complete, rinse the sensor with clean water and wipe with a dry cloth.
7. Dip the sensor in the sample which is to be measured. Stir gently and wait till the screen reading stabilises.
8. It is not required to calibrate before each use of the unit - every 2 weeks or after 10 readings.
9. After the measure is complete, rinse the sensor in in clear water and replace the protective cover.
The sponge situated inside the protective cover must always be kept damp with clean water.

NB : Change the battery when the display is no longer visible.
